The vision that animates Marist College Canberra is captured in our motto:

Servo Fidem - "I keep the faith"

It's an ideal that speaks of being steadfast, of being true and honest, of being committed to "finish the course". It is based on keeping the faith alive and passing it on to others as a living faith that originates in our spiritual life that permeates all aspects of the school.

2 Timothy 4, 7 - Bonum certamen certavi, cursum consummavi, fidem servavi.

The second letter of Paul to Timothy is a presentation of the apostle’s teaching to his friend and companion, and so to all Christians. From it we derive our motto, I Keep the Faith.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
